If you are starting, or have recently started a business; you may be interested to know that one of the UK’s major banks has launched a new start up offer with 2 years free business banking. 

With business bank accounts you usually have to pay to deposit and withdraw money; but with the new account from Natwest these charges are free until the third year. They are also increasing the number of business managers in their branches to help give you better service.

The account is for new businesses and those less than 12 months old. It includes a £500 fee free overdraft (interest still applies) for the first year, and a business credit card with no fee for the first year. There are other benefits, and also a few limitations; you should of course check it out in detail to make sure it is suitable for your business before you go ahead.

Every business has different needs, and you may find that a different account is more suitable; but it is a positive step to see a major bank launching an offer like this. This kind of deal can only help small businesses and we hope it is a trend that continues.
