Don't Forget HM Customs & Revenue Merger
 

All existing businesses will have dealt with the Inland Revenue at some point, and many with HM Customs and Excise; but now you need to take note that they have merged.

This means that any queries or difficulties with taxation, customs, the minimum wage etc will need to be redirected to the new department. You will also need to use the new department when looking for tax forms or other information.

It is currently unclear whether existing telephone numbers or email addresses will continue to work; so you should ensure that your contact information is correct to save time in the event of a problem.

The merger is designed to create a more efficient department, hopefully saving money and improving the service your business receives at the same time.
