HMRC – Unpaid tax may be written off – £1.5 billion

22/09/10. Today it was revealed by HMRC that they may write off £1.5 billion of unpaid tax because they are nervous of legal challenges which may be brought against them, this affects millions of people with unpaid tax going back to 2007.

This is in addition to 6 million others who have paid incorrect amounts.
